One of the most profound Books of the Bible is the Book of Job. It addresses a number of key questions mankind has been asking since the beginning of time; such as, “Why do bad things happen to good people?” This Old Testament Book of the Bible also emphasizes a fundamental and transcending Biblical teaching: perseverance in faith and trust in God through our Lord Jesus Christ is a basic virtue for all believers. While we may not always understand why there is suffering, we do learn from the story of Job that God does love us, that suffering ultimately will end, and that God’s blessings await us.
