Michael Foust recently sat down with actress Rose Reid to discuss her upcoming show 'A Thousand Tomorrows.' Here is a look at their conversation: Actress Rose Reid didn’t have to think long before accepting a role in the new Pure Flix series 'A Thousand Tomorrows', which follows the story of a female barrel racer who falls in love with a bull rider. Reid grew up around horses. In fact, she was actually a barrel racer. “When I was born, [my mom] was like, this girl is going to ride [horses] before she rides bicycles. So indeed I did,” Reid told Christian Headlines, laughing. Reading the script, she said, was like a dream come true. “This is exactly what I've always dreamed of doing.’ And it was just such a dream to get to work with the animals again,” she said. 'A Thousand Tomorrows' is based on the bestselling novel by Karen Kingsbury and tells the story of a cocky bull rider named Cody Gunnar (Colin Ford) who has a history of pushing people away until he meets Reid’s character, Ali Daniels. Kingsbury and her son Tyler Russell co-wrote the script. A well-known actor in The Chosen is opening up about his faith journey, saying he had never had a personal encounter with Jesus until he took the role in the Bible-based hit series and was influenced by Christians behind the scenes. Nick Shakoour, who portrays Zebedee, said that the series has had a significant impact on his life. His character is the father of James and John. "I literally felt like I was given a brand new body – brand new everything," he said, choking back tears. "... But since that's happened, I don't have the sensation of hunger, and I don't get thirsty. So now I've got to go out of my way to remind myself to drink water and eat – and I [formerly] was someone that would [eat] six meals a day … for the workouts. And it's like God came and went, 'No, you don't need all those six meals.' Michael Foust recently sat down with actress Charlene Tilton to discuss her PureFlix movie "Heaven Sent." Here is a look at their conversation: The legendary actress, best known for her role in the award-winning television series Dallas, says she has seen God's hand on her life and that her Christian faith is the key to daily peace. Charlene Tilton starred in over 240 episodes of the Emmy-winning series Dallas from 1978 to 1990 before transitioning to movies. Her latest project is the Pure Flix romantic comedy Heaven Sent, which she calls the "best thing I've ever done." She and co-star Karen Abercrombie portray middle-aged friends who get a second chance at romance. Tilton told Christian Headlines that God has guided her through life's storms. She lived in foster care as a child. In 2010, her fiance Cheddy Hart died of a heart attack. "I've… seen the hand of God in my life since I can remember, at five years old. God's hand has been on me," Tilton told Christian Headlines. "And I know His hand's on everybody, but it's just if you choose to acknowledge it, and feel it and be still and listen to that still small voice that will guide you and show you the ways to go." Her Christian faith, she said, means "everything" to her. She noted that she starts every day with prayer and Bible reading, adding that she gets in the "presence of God" because "that's where you find the fullness of joy." Michael Foust recently sat down with Patricia Heaton and David Hunt, who produced and executive produced the adoption-centric film "Unexpected." Here is a look at their conversation: A new film by the husband-and-wife team of David Hunt and Patricia Heaton has a life-affirming, adoption-centric message that reminds audience members that everyone is "known to God," they say. The comedy film, Unexpected, is based on the book "Enslaved By Ducks," and tells the story of a couple battling infertility who accumulate various types of animals to try and fill the emotional void. Halfway through the film, the couple faces the possibility of adoption. It stars Joseph Mazzello (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Social Network) and Anna Camp (The Help, 5000 Blankets) in the lead roles. Actress Elizabeth Tabish says a war-torn world needs to hear the messages of peace and hope that are the focus of an upcoming special Christmas-themed movie based on The Chosen.   That movie, Christmas with The Chosen: Holy Night, will be in theaters for six nights, Dec. 12-17, blending two Nativity-flavored episodes — “The Messengers” and “The Shepherd” —into one remastered and re-scored story. It also includes a performance by Andrea and Matteo Bocelli.   “There's so much pain going on in the world right now. There's so much tragedy,” Tabish told Christian Headlines. “... [The movie] is about the birth of Jesus. And it's told through a few different perspectives. But all of it comes down to this beacon of hope, which is the Christ child and the peace and joy and freedom that comes with that and with Him.”   The two episodes, she added, are “edited together in this really seamless way” where it “almost feels like it's always been told this way.”   Tabish also is anticipating Season 4 of The Chosen which will land in theaters early next year. Actress and author Danica McKellar says her newfound faith has transformed her view on life and that her new home in Tennessee has given her the church-based community she needs! McKellar is known among fans of rom-coms for her Great American Family and Hallmark Channel films and among the education community for her series of kid-friendly math books. Her newest movie, A Royal Date for Christmas, debuted on Great American Family on Nov. 25.
