Donnelly Wilkes, M.D. is a California native. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Wilkes obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of California Irvine, and his Medical Degree from Tulane University School of Medicine on a full Navy Scholarship. Following medical school, Wilkes was commissioned in the U.S. Navy, completed residency training in Family Medicine at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, and served seven years on active duty. Wilkes served two combat tours in Iraq in 2004 and 2008 and was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for valor during the battle of Fallujah in April of 2004. Upon completion of his Naval service, Dr. Wilkes was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Commander and opened Wilkes Family Medicine in August of 2009. In 1976–1977, Reston was David Frost's Watergate adviser for the historic Nixon interviews which forced ex-President Nixon to apologize for his Watergate crimes and remains the most-watched public affairs television program in broadcast history. (The Watergate interrogation had an audience of 57 million viewers.) Touted in an April 1978 Playboy article as Frost's "top gun," Reston wrote an 80-page interrogation document for Frost, before the Watergate interrogation that included tapes of incriminating conversations between Richard Nixon and his aide, Charles Colson that surprised Nixon and allowed Frost to take control of the interchange. Reston's book on the historic interviews, The Conviction of Richard Nixon, is the basis for Peter Morgan's play Frost/Nixon, in which the Jim Reston's character is the narrator.In October 2019 he published his diary of the last six weeks of the Nixon presidency which he wrote in 1974 when he came to Washington from North Carolina to witness the impeachment drama. Emily Gould is an American author. She is the co-owner, with Ruth Curry, of the indie e-bookstore Emily Books, and the former co-editor of Gawker.com.Gould began her blogging career as one-half of The Universal Review before starting her own blog, Emily Magazine, and writing for Gawker on a freelance basis. Before joining the Gawker staff, Gould was an associate editor at Disney's Hyperion imprint.Gould is the co-author, with Zareen Jaffery, of the young adult novel Hex Education (2007). King has mostly continued the life that he lived before Fyre, as Co-Founder and Event Producer for his company Inward Point - although, with a newfound celebrity-esque status. During his tenure as a writer for NBC’s Saturday Night Live alongside Will Ferrell, Maya Rudolph, Norm MacDonald, Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan, Fink not only earned a reputation for his fearless lampooning of pop culture, but also appeared as a commentator on the show’s Weekend Update. During his final season at SNL, Hugh Fink received the Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Program. Jim Horacek served as an analyst, supervisor, and instructor in the Central Intelligence Agency from 1999-2014. A specialist in the ethnic conflicts that broke out after the break-up of the Soviet Union, his first assignment in the Agency was as an analyst in the Caucasus and Central Asia Group. After 9/11, he volunteered to join the newly created Office of Terrorism Analysis within the Counterterrorism Center (CTC). As an executive assistant in the CTC front office in 2002, he worked on both the internal and external reviews of the events of 9/11 and witnessed the creation of the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI’s Counterterrorism Analysis group. He then became one of the first analysts to follow the terrorist network that would become known as ISIS, with its founder Abu Mus’ab al-Zarqawi, and he served as a senior analyst in the Iraq Group during the height of Operation Iraqi Freedom. From 2006-2008, he served as a supervisor in both the CTC Weapons of Mass Destruction Group and the National Counterterrorism Center’s CBRN Counterterrorism Group. After a tour as a leadership and management instructor in the Sherman Kent School for Intelligence Analysis, he became one of the CIA’s representatives to US Strategic Command in Bellevue, Nebraska in 2011. Jim resigned from the CIA in 2014 in order to accept a position as a manager in Nebraska Medicine’s Project Management Office. In 2019, he became the lead project manager charged with opening the Nebraska Medicine-UNMC Global Center for Health Security. Jim returned to US Strategic Command in 2021, where he now works as a Sr. Deterrence Analyst in the Plans and Policy Directorate.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
