According to a NYTimes poll, 70% of people oppose teaching kids about sexual orientation and gender identity. So, why is this happening? Because the Left controls education…  Antarctica is not melting away. It’s as icy as it ever was. All media stories to the contrary are fear-mongering.  New York City is sliding into serious debt as people flee the city. The NY Times blames the “pandemic,” but if that was the cause why is Miami prospering? NYC is failing because of crime, the lockdowns and its socialist policies.  The pursuit of equality of outcomes — egalitarianism — always leads to violence. More people have been murdered in the name of equality than anything else. We can see this in the difference between the American Revolution and the French Revolution. Queen Elizabeth’s funeral was this morning. It was full of pageantry and ritual. Human beings need these things. They bind us to our past… Sadly, Pope Francis is leftist. He is not bringing people to the Catholic Church; he’s chasing them away with his preoccupation with global warming and anti-capitalism.  Dennis attended a rodeo in Ft Worth, TX over the weekend. Ukrainian forces have pushed the Russian Army out a good chunk of northeastern Ukraine. Will Putin now give up on his ambitions to annex the country. Not likely. More likely: the war will drag on. For his own survival, Putin can’t lose… He who has the energy wins. China is going all out for coal and laughing as the US and Western Europe commit energy suicide.  Another race hoax and once again the media swallowed it whole. This one involves a Duke female volleyball player who accused her opponents, the volleyball team of Brigham Young U. of harassing her with racist taunts. She made it up.  Contrary to what you might think understanding that life is hard actually makes life easier.
