Do not be afraid. That is the first phrase from the lips of the angel of the Lord in verse 5, “Do not be afraid.” If we do a quick BibleGateway search for the words “do not fear,” we will find about 30 verses that include this phrase. It is a common emotion if God encourages so many biblical characters with these words.
