Join us for an inspiring and heartfelt conversation with our friend, Em Tyler, as she shares her powerful journey of transitioning from New Zealand back to the UK, leaving behind a life she cherished. Em opens up about the deep grief of feeling unfinished in New Zealand and grappling with why God led her there only to bring her back.    In this episode, we chat with Em about the power of transforming her mindset, choosing to focus on the good and the new opportunities God has in store for her. She passionately talks about feeding our souls with God's truth and dwelling on things that are good, lovely, and admirable.   Learn how taking our thoughts captive and creating new neural pathways can change our lives. Em shares her insights on self-compassion, kindness in our inner dialogue, and seeing Jesus as a compassionate coach.   Be inspired to focus on the next right thing, trust in God's guidance, and embrace the freedom of not having to be the hero of your own life. This conversation is a must-listen for anyone seeking encouragement and practical wisdom for navigating life's challenges with faith and positivity.

Meet Your Host
We’re Christy Osborne and Meade Holland Shirley—co-hosts of the But Jesus Drank Wine podcast and co-founders of a faith-based ministry helping women break free from alcohol and walk boldly into the freedom Jesus offers. Our paths to freedom looked different, but led to the same truth: Jesus offers more than sobriety—He offers deep, lasting transformation.

Christy, a former lawyer with a background in law, business, and politics, experienced radical renewal after choosing sobriety. Now a senior sobriety coach and author of Love Life Sober (Penguin Random House), she helps women renew their minds and rediscover joy through a powerful blend of faith, neuroscience, and practical tools.

Meade, a former pharmaceutical rep and stay-at-home mom, looked like she had it all together—but felt stuck in a nightly-ish wine habit. Once she realized the issue was less about drinking and more about thinking, everything changed. Now a senior certified coach and creator of the Change-Your-Thinking-to-Change-Your-Drinking method and The Missing P.E.A.C.E. framework, Meade helps women ditch shame, reclaim purpose, and live with peace and joy.

Together, we create loving, Spirit-led spaces where women can explore their relationship with alcohol, renew their minds, and pursue the freedom they were made for.

Christy lives in Surrey, England; Meade outside Atlanta. We're just two women who surrendered our wine glasses, found something far better in Jesus, and now have the joy of helping others do the same.
