463 - Revive Outdoors with Taylor Philpot
Today's guest is Taylor Philpot, the Founder and Executive Director of Revive Outdoors, a nonprofit organization based in Alabama that's making a lasting impact through conservation, hunting mentorship, and faith. What started as a passion for the outdoors has grown into a mission focused on changing lives for eternity.
Through Revive Outdoors, Taylor and his team have introduced hundreds of people to hunting while building meaningful relationships and pointing people toward Christ. Their impact speaks for itself: 456 mentored hunts, 127 individuals connected with mental health resources, 55 people who have made decisions to follow Jesus, and more than $33,000 given back to their local community.
Taylor is also the host of the Revive Outdoors Podcast and YouTube channel, where he creates educational hunting content that not only helps hunters become more successful in the field but also uses the outdoors as a platform to share hope, purpose, and the Gospel.

Pete Rogers spends many days a year afield enjoying God’s creation while hunting, fishing, hiking, or camping. He has traveled to 49 states, as well as numerous Canadian provinces, pursuing his passion in the outdoors. Taking these and other experiences, Pete has published more than 1,400 magazine articles and 4,000 photographs in his career. His stories and photographs have earned more than 60 awards in literary, photographic, and videography competitions. He is also the author of six books.
In October 2019, he founded and launched the award-winning Christian Outdoors Podcast, where he uses this program to merge his passion for Christ with his passion for the outdoors. Christian Outdoors Podcast has been awarded “Best Podcast” four years in a row from the South Carolina Outdoor Press Association. His weekly episodes are exciting and uplifting and bring a passion for the outdoors and his Lord and Savior. Currently, Christian Outdoors has more than 14 million downloads and is growing.
