Chris Wells is just that, since 2008 he has been the Chaplain of the Bassmaster Elite series professional bass fishing circuit. Pete Rogers resides in Saluda County, SC and is a graduate from the University of South Carolina and earned a master’s in divinity degree from Erskine Theological Seminary before being ordained. More than twenty-five years ago, Pete began merging his love for writing with his love of the outdoors.
Pete Rogers spends many days a year afield enjoying God’s creation while hunting, fishing, hiking, or camping. He has traveled to 49 states, as well as numerous Canadian provinces, pursuing his passion in the outdoors. Taking these and other experiences, Pete has published more than 1,400 magazine articles and 4,000 photographs in his career. His stories and photographs have earned more than 60 awards in literary, photographic, and videography competitions. He is also the author of six books.
In October 2019, he founded and launched the award-winning Christian Outdoors Podcast, where he uses this program to merge his passion for Christ with his passion for the outdoors. Christian Outdoors Podcast has been awarded “Best Podcast” four years in a row from the South Carolina Outdoor Press Association. His weekly episodes are exciting and uplifting and bring a passion for the outdoors and his Lord and Savior. Currently, Christian Outdoors has more than 14 million downloads and is growing.
