Welcome to Inside the Epicenter with Joel Rosenberg and Lynn Rosenberg, a podcast of the Joshua Fund. In today's special episode, Joel and Lynn share a powerful ministry update reflecting on 20 years of serving Israel and her neighbors in the name of Jesus. As conflict continues to reshape the Middle East, they recount first-hand stories of humanitarian relief following the October 7 attacks, caring for displaced families, supporting local pastors and counselors, and witnessing remarkable spiritual openness among both Jews and Muslims. They also discuss exciting developments such as the first modern Hebrew translation of the Hebrew Bible, outreach through trauma counseling resources, where they believe we are in Bible prophecy, and the growing opportunities to proclaim the gospel throughout Israel and the surrounding region.

Bible verse of the day:
Isaiah 25:1 - O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.

Prayer Request:

  1. Pray for Israel, the Palestinian territories, and neighboring Arab nations as they continue to experience war, uncertainty, and humanitarian need. Ask the Lord to protect innocent lives, comfort those who are grieving, and bring lasting peace according to His purposes.

  2. Pray for the Joshua Fund, its ministry partners, local churches, pastors, counselors, and humanitarian teams serving throughout the epicenter. Ask God to give them wisdom, strength, protection, and abundant resources as they continue sharing the love of Jesus through both practical aid and faithful gospel ministry.

  3. Pray for a spiritual awakening throughout Israel and the Middle East. Ask God to use the growing openness among Jews, Muslims, and nominal Christians to draw many people to Jesus Christ. Pray that God's word will continue reaching new audiences through modern Hebrew Bible translations, evangelism, media ministries, and local believers faithfully proclaiming the gospel.
