A Prayer for Church Hurt
Reference: Psalm 94:19
Can we truly find joy and comfort in God's promises even in moments of suffering, even suffering caused by another believer?
Today's prayer is a reminder that we can cling to God's truth in the face of oppression and remember that while Satan seeks to divide the church, God's Word is our anchor. Through scripture and prayer, we are encouraged to resist the temptation to withdraw from God and instead seek comfort, healing, and strength in His Word.
Prayer Father, I so easily become anxious and look for ways that I can control what's going on around me. Yet all I need to do is simply lift my eyes to you and offer you my anxiety. Thank you for the reminder in Psalm 46 -10 to be still and know that you are God. For your word is the only place that I find comfort and refreshment. Your consolation brings me joy in the midst of difficult circumstances. In Jesus' name, amen.
