In this moving episode of Out of Zion, ICEJ USA President Dr. Susan Michael reveals how God is working behind the scenes through world events and the modern miracle of the Jewish people’s return to their ancient homeland over the past 500 years. She unpacks the biblical promise of the land to Abraham’s descendants, the meaning of Aliyah—the Jewish return to Israel—and why Christians are called to pray for Israel’s full restoration, both physical and spiritual. Dr. Michael also explains how gentile believers play a vital role in God’s plan to restore not only Israel but all nations, preparing the way for His ultimate victory over evil.

Meet Your Host
For over 40 years, Dr. Susan Michael has advanced the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) in the USA and worldwide. She serves as USA President and sits on the ICEJ’s international Board of Directors. She is frequently asked to address complex issues to diverse audiences—including antisemitism, Islam, Jewish-Christian relations, and Middle East affairs—and does so with clarity and grace.

Susan’s involvement with the ICEJ began as a graduate student at Jerusalem University College in 1980, the same year that the Christian Embassy was first established. Upon completing her master’s degree in Judeo-Christian Studies, she returned from Israel with a heart to further the Embassy’s mission among fellow Americans. After a season assisting the ministry’s international leadership to host a series of high-profile pro-Israel conferences across the United States, she was asked to head up the ICEJ’s USA Branch.

In addition to a master’s degree in Judeo-Christian Studies, she holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from Oral Roberts University and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Laws by Piedmont International University in 2018.

Dr. Michael leads the American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI), has authored books, such as Encounter the 3D Bible: How to Read the Bible So It Comes to Life, and has developed educational resources, including the IsraelAnswers website, ICEJ U online courses, and curricula for Christian colleges.
