This Week on the Podcast: Tricia Goyer and Mike Nawrocki Welcome Author Kate Wood to Talk About I Dream for You

This week, hosts Tricia Goyer and Mike Nawrocki sit down with Kate Wood, the award-winning baker, writer, and creator behind the popular blog Wood and Spoon, to discuss her beautiful new children's book, I Dream for You: Imagining God’s Love and Plans for Your Life.

Known for her heartfelt storytelling and creativity, Kate brings the same warmth to I Dream for You, a tender picture book designed for children ages 4–8. With lyrical prose and stunning illustrations, I Dream for You captures the hopes, dreams, and prayers of a mother for her child—from the earliest moments of anticipation to the joy of watching them grow. The book reminds young readers of the boundless love of God and His perfect plan for their lives.

In this episode, you’ll hear about:

  • How I Dream for You reflects Kate’s personal journey of motherhood and faith
  • The powerful message of God’s love woven throughout the book
  • How Scripture is thoughtfully incorporated on each page
  • Why I Dream for You makes a meaningful gift for baby showers, baptisms, birthdays, and special milestones

Kate shares, “The role of dreamer isn’t just for mothers—it’s a call to all of us to bring hope and love into the lives of those we cherish. I Dream for You is a celebration of that opportunity.”

Tune in for an inspiring conversation about faith, family, and the dreams that shape our children’s futures.
