This week on The Bible for Kids Podcast, host Mike Nawrocki sits down with award-winning animator Tom Bancroft and director John Shafer to talk about their inspiring new animated film, Light of the World.

Set in 30 AD, Light of the World brings the life of Jesus Christ to the big screen in a fresh and family-friendly way. The story unfolds through the eyes of the Apostle John, one of Jesus’ closest friends, as he witnesses the beginning of Jesus’ ministry, His miracles, teachings, crucifixion, and resurrection.

This powerful, beautifully animated film follows John, James, Andrew, Peter, and others on an unforgettable journey with the Messiah. Perfect for families and faith audiences, Light of the World vividly shows how Jesus of Nazareth changed the world forever—and continues to transform lives today.

🎬 Light of the World hits theaters nationwide on September 5, 2025. Don’t miss this uplifting new portrayal of the life of Jesus!
