This week on The Bible for Kids Podcast, hosts Mike Nawrocki and Tricia Goyer sit down with award-winning children’s author Carolyn Leiloglou to talk about her brand-new release, Beyond the Far Horizon, the exciting conclusion to her bestselling Restorationists trilogy.

In this exclusive author interview, Carolyn shares the inspiration behind her imaginative, art-inspired fantasy world where kids with powerful Gifts must stand together against the dangerous Distortionists.

In Beyond the Far Horizon, Ravi—once a foe, now a tentative friend—struggles to trust the Restorationists. Though he’s free from crime and captivity, Ravi feels like an outsider on the team. With a stolen painting hidden as his escape plan, he must decide: will he risk trusting Vincent, Georgia, and his new allies, or go it alone forever?

As the Restorationists infiltrate the enemy’s heist crew, Ravi uncovers startling truths about his past—forcing him to choose between fear and belonging in this page-turning finale.

Mike is the offbeat brain behind Silly Songs with Larry, and has lent his screenwriting and directing talents to dozens of VeggieTales episodes, as well as both of the properties’ theatrical releases, Jonah and The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything.

His most recent project, an early-reader book series published by Tyndale House titled The Dead Sea Squirrels, has been adapted into a 13-episode animated series now streaming on Minno, with more books and a season 2 of animation currently in the works. Mike also serves as an assistant professor of film and animation at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, and co-hosts the weekly podcast, “The Bible for Kids.”

Tricia Goyer is a USA Today bestselling author of over 100 books, including historical fiction, family favorites, and books for children and teens.
