S7Ep39: Allen Brokken - Light of Mine Adventure Book Series
This week on The Bible for Kids Podcast, we sit down with award-winning Christian author Allen Brokken to talk about his bestselling middle-grade fantasy series, Light of Mine, part of the popular Towers of Light Christian adventure books for kids.
In this powerful Christian fantasy story for middle readers, siblings Lauren (12), Aiden (9), and Ethan (5) are left alone on their family farm after their parents mysteriously disappear. When the children discover the Armor of God, they realize that protecting the Tower of Light may be the only way to bring their parents home—and stop the encroaching darkness threatening their community.
As strange visitors arrive, a hooded figure trespasses on the farm, and a new bishop takes over the church, the children must learn to tell friend from foe. Armed with three holy weapons, the help of faithful blessed pets, and their growing trust in God, they stand against the Dark One’s forces in a battle between light and darkness.
Perfect for fans of Little House on the Prairie, classic family-centered adventures, and faith-based fantasy stories, Light of Mine blends Christian values, action, and heartwarming sibling relationships in a way that resonates with readers of all ages.
