This week, I’m stepping in as co-host alongside Mike as we welcome back award-winning, bestselling author Crystal Bowman to the podcast! She’s here to share about her latest book, R Is for Risen – An ABC Easter Story, co-authored with Teri McKinley.

This beautifully illustrated, faith-filled book takes children on a rhyming journey through Holy Week—from Palm Sunday to the Resurrection and the Great Commission—all while teaching the alphabet!

Unlike other ABC books that simply match letters with random Easter-related words, R Is for Risen thoughtfully presents the true Easter story in chronological order, helping young readers understand the biblical meaning of Easter.

📖 What kids will discover in this Easter ABC book:

✅ Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday

✅ His prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane

✅ His arrest, interrogation, and crucifixion

✅ His glorious resurrection and the Great Commission

With engaging rhymes, beautiful illustrations, and a Christ-centered message, R Is for Risen is sure to become a family favorite for Easter traditions.
