7 Reasons to Nix Sex Before Marriage: a Non-Religious & Fresh Perspective
September 12, 2023 - 32 min
Are we really talking about sex before marriage? And what’s the big deal, anyway? Friends, today, we are going there. We are talking about a subject that is highly controversial and highly opinionated. I will share my opinions about why I believe sex is best reserved for marriage, but I will also share some research, and all of this will be from a non-faith-based perspective.
We often discuss married sex on this podcast; it's just a part of marriage, nothing to be ashamed of. But today, we're talking about seven reasons why you need to nix sex before marriage. And while this episode provides a non-religious perspective, I am not ashamed of my Christian faith. I do however serve people from various backgrounds, and I think it's important to have conversations that are not solely from a religious perspective.

When Heaven is Silent: The Truth Behind Unanswered Prayers
September 8, 2023 - 8 min
Join us for Faith Friday, where we dive into the meaning of unanswered prayers. It's a question that often resonates with many, whether you're a newcomer to faith, a seasoned believer, or simply curious about spirituality. "Why does God not answer my prayer?" It's a question that's likely crossed your mind, just as it has mine.
Before we explore this topic further, I want to make one thing clear right from the start: God answers every single prayer. Yes, you heard that right, every single one. But here's the catch: His response depends on whether our prayers align with His divine will.
John 5:14 says, “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know that he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.”
So, next time you're praying and it feels like heaven's gone silent, remember this: God doesn't abandon His children. Instead, He guides us with answers that are in our best spiritual interest. Instead of frustration, let's embrace gratitude for our kind, gracious, and loving Heavenly Father.
Thank you for joining me on this Faith Friday episode. I'd love to hear your thoughts on today's topic. You can connect with me on Instagram @MrsDanaChe. And be sure to subscribe to the podcast to catch all the episodes. Your faith journey matters, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Wishing you a Faith-Filled Friday and a weekend full of blessings. Until our next episode, take care.

Divine Devotion: What Does It Mean to Love God?
August 25, 2023 - 6 min
It's Faith Friday! Listen and be inspired by Mark 12:28-31 and 1 John 4:20, which helps us understand what it means to wholeheartedly love God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength. See the verses below and let's ponder some things together. Mark 12: 28-31 “One of the teachers of religious law was standing there listening to the debate. He realized that Jesus had answered well, so he asked, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”1 John 4:20 “If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see?”
Some questions to ponder:
What must I remove from my life that keeps me from wholeheartedly loving God?
What do I need to examine in my heart that keeps me from loving others wholeheartedly?
Father in Heaven, I pray hearts to be open to hear your voice on anything in their world that might keep them from loving you greater and reflecting your love to others in their world as well. In Jesus name, amen!

Joy & Celebration: The Strength Sustainer
August 18, 2023 - 6 min
It's Faith Friday and also the three-year anniversary of Real Relationship Talk! Our faith focus is from Nehemiah 8:10, which reminds us about the power of joy and celebration. Nehemiah 8:10: And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”The enemy would have us focused on the trauma, pain, and hardships so we will be zapped of our strength. This is his tactic to steal our joy - OUR STRENGTH! Praise God as you wait on your answer and remember, let the joy of the Lord be your strength!Join me for this conversation and learn how joy and celebration can impact your life.
Some questions to ponder:
How can I celebrate and cultivate joy in my relationships?
How can I guard against the enemy’s tactic to steal my joy and strength in my relationships?
