Your age has a lot of meaning especially as you get older. More experience, wisdom and perhaps mental and physical well being. But when you are judged by other strictly by your age, it can cause feelings of being less than, ignored or counted out all together. This is called "Ageism" or judging someone's abilities or "lack of" strictly by their age.
