Exercising Isn't Just For Weight Loss
Hello and thanks for joining us for this week’s podcast!
When we think of exercising the main idea that comes to mind is losing weight. This is usually the main motivator for most people and that’s a great reason! But regular exercise has so many benefits that come with it and we wanted to dedicate an episode to discovering what those benefits really are!
In This Podcast You Will Learn:
1). How we were inspired by one of our listeners and their struggles with eating disorders and weight loss to discuss this important topic about the many benefits of exercise other than weight loss.
2). Some of the mental health benefits that you gain from doing regular exercise every week.
3). Meredith’s own personal experiences in working with seniors and all age ranges and how she saw the changes in people’s lives after exercising overall.
4). Why “losing weight” is the most popular reason why people begin exercising but also how they soon find out the many benefits you gain as well.
5). Why writing down your workouts either in a notebook or online is a great way to help you see progress and accomplishment as you go through your fitness journey and how that can help motivate you even more.
