Matthews recounts growing up in a single-parent home in Georgia without a father figure, facing bullying, discovering same-sex attraction through early internet pornography, battling porn addiction, depression, and anxiety, and ultimately choosing to fully follow Jesus after years of struggle with the gay lifestyle and "gay Christian" ideas.
Richard describes his powerful rooftop encounter with God, the freedom found in Scripture and community at V1 Church, the launch of Redeemption Ministries, and how authenticity about leaving same-sex attraction has opened doors for digital evangelism, podcasts, and equipping the church on biblical sexuality and the gospel.
