1 Timothy 5:17-25 - Avoiding Extremes When It Comes To The Pastor
There are 2 extremes people fall into when it comes to their pastor: 1. their pastor is perfect, or, 2. the pastor can't do anything right. In today's episode, Jenn delves into 1 Timothy 5, which explains a more moderate approach as to how we should view our pastors:
- Good pastors (those who meet the elder qualifications) should be given double honor
- Yes, pastors should be paid
- Accusations against an elder should only be listened to if there are multiple witnesses
- Paul tells the church to be impartial toward their pastors
