Esther 8 - Esther's Second Appeal to the King : The Solution to the Jew's Plight

Esther is still at an impasse with the king after she learns about the destruction of her people:

• In a likely effort to placate Esther, the king gives her Haman's entire estate'
• Esther reveals her relationship with Mordecai, who is promoted to Haman's place
• Esther must appeal to the king a second time in order to beg for the life of her people
• Mordecai finds the solution that will save his people, himself, and Esther
• The people, in fear of the Jews, become Jewish themselves
