Today’s Bible Verse:
“And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? ‘My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you.’” — Hebrews 12:5

God’s discipline isn’t punishment—it’s proof of His love. Hebrews reminds us that when God corrects or redirects us, He’s acting as a faithful Father, shaping our character and guiding us toward what leads to life. Instead of brushing off His correction or sinking into discouragement, we’re invited to see it as care. His discipline is purposeful, gentle, and always meant to strengthen us, not shame us.
