Today’s Bible Verse: “Then he said to them, ‘My soul is very sorrowful to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.’” — Matthew 26:38

Matthew 26:38 gives us a deeply human moment from the life of Jesus. In the Garden of Gethsemane, as He faced the suffering of the cross, Jesus openly expressed the weight of His sorrow. He did not hide His anguish—He shared it with His closest disciples and asked them to stay with Him.
