Today’s Bible Verse: “For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” — Matthew 8:9

Matthew 8:9 highlights a powerful moment of faith from an unexpected source. A Roman centurion recognized something many others missed — Jesus’ authority didn’t depend on physical presence. He understood that if Jesus gave the word, it was as good as done.
