I ran across today’s guest on Social Media and noticed right off that we share a common history as we both retired from The USDA - Wildlife Services. Dana Johnson earned a degree in Wildlife Science from Auburn University and spent 23 years with USDA‑Wildlife Services serving as a rabies biologist, airport biologist, district supervisor, and animal damage control biologist. He collaborated on numerous research projects on rabies and feral swine with Auburn University, has authored many articles on wildlife management, and launched the podcast "In His Name Outdoors" on May 27, 2025, after retiring from USDA.

Pete Rogers spends many days a year afield enjoying God’s creation while hunting, fishing, hiking, or camping.
