We all have bad days. Maybe you wake up in a terrible mood, someone says the wrong thing, traffic pushes your buttons, and suddenly your frustration seems to control everything.

But what do we do with those emotions when anger starts taking over?

In this episode of HEARTBEAT, we look at 2 Corinthians 10:5 and the call to “take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ.” Following Jesus doesn’t mean we never feel anger or frustration. It means we don't have to let those emotions control our thoughts, words, and actions.

If you're having one of those days, pause. Take that thought captive. Invite Jesus into the moment and let Him lead your heart.

👉 Don’t forget: You can also download our free devotional, “Mind, Body & Soul,” designed to help strengthen your walk with God through Scripture, prayer, and practical habits.
