In this episode of March or Die, Jeremy Stalnecker and Sean Kennard sit down with Matthew Gay, author of Fit Church and founder of FIT Church United, to unpack his powerful story of redemption, purpose, and calling. After surviving a devastating car accident that should have left him paralyzed, or worse, Matthew discovered that God had more for him.

Raised by immigrant parents and scarred by a broken relationship with his father, Matt’s early life spiraled into rebellion, addiction, and eventually jail. But when tragedy struck, everything changed. In the wreckage, God met him, and rebuilt him physically, spiritually, and missionally.

Now, Matthew is on a mission to bridge the gap between physical health and spiritual purpose, helping churches and believers become fit for the calling God has placed on their lives.

This isn’t about vanity, it’s about stewardship, identity, and becoming battle-ready for the life God has called you to live.
