A Prayer to Trust What We Can't See
Reference: Ephesians 5:2
This powerful reminder invites moms to step back from the urge to control and speak hastily, and instead to rest in God’s sovereignty. When we acknowledge God's position and wisdom, it helps shape our worship, words, and prayers. Be encouraged to surrender control, model humility for their children, and find peace in God's complete knowledge—even when life feels uncertain or chaotic.
Prayer Lord, it's so easy for me to forget how little control I have and how limited my knowledge is. I get busy working out details and arranging schedules and somehow I can begin to think I'm actually in charge. Forgive me for all the little ways I tried to sit on your throne. Would you gently remind me of who you are and who I am? And as you move in me and in my family, Father, I'll be careful to give you all the glory. In Jesus' name, amen.
